The local chain of pubs; The Barley Mow Pubs, A local chain in the region has one of the most impressive scotch and beer lists found on this side of the Atlantic. Try one of our many single malt whiskies, or select from among 20 microbrews and import draughts on tap. It’s hard to believe but with such a good selection we are also a family friendly pub.The Barley Mow boasts a full menu of appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, salads and wraps. Although, we do serve traditional favourites such as fish and chips, bangers and mash, and liver and onions. One can also enjoy a blazing hot curry or bacon wrapped meatloaf. Nachos, wings, chicken fingers and a basket of fries or “chippers” (house-made potato chips with Belgian-style frites sauce) are also available. The Barley Mow also serves a home-style brunch on the weekends.The Barley Mow offers a superb selection of beers and a great kids menu to delight anyone in the family. There’s a wide selection of wines and a fully stocked bar to create any mixed drink or cocktail. Feeling indecisive or just want it all?
